The old lady sat alone in her room of a four storey bungalow. She was sobbing as she recalled of what had just happened 3 hours ago, when she was in the supreme court. Her husband had suddenly died of heart attack a year ago and left her a widow at a age of 78, with nothing but that house which was given to her children during the law suit. With puffy and red wet eyes, she took a last walk around her house and unfortunately slipped and rolled down the stairs.

This was actually very promising until you last line. I admit it took me by surprise! I think a little more details of her actions or thoughts would make this more poignant.
ReplyDeleteAn unexpected ending and I feel sorry for that old lady. She suffered a setback and in the end a tragic death. Overall I think it is a good idea of writing.
